How the Call Back Works
Fill in the form above and a member of the Griffith Excavating team calls you back by the next business day — usually the same day if you send it during working hours. We are open Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and we take after-hours emergency calls when a site is unsafe or water is actively doing damage. If you would rather not wait, call (540) 717-5979 and speak to someone now.
The first call is short. We ask where the property is, what you want done, how a truck and trailer will get in, and whether anything is buried or close to a property line. That is usually enough to tell you whether the job is a half day or a multi-week project, and to book a free on-site estimate. Nothing is quoted firm until we have stood on the ground and looked at it.
Useful Things to Have Ready
The property address or parcel number, a rough idea of the area involved, any permit or inspection dates you are working to, and photos if the problem is visible — a sunken driveway over a failed culvert, standing water after rain, or a structure due to come down. None of it is required, but it shortens the conversation considerably.
Where We Work and What We Do
Griffith Excavating operates out of 122 Oak Haven Lane, Mineral, Virginia 23117, and has served central Virginia since 2004. Crews regularly run jobs in Mineral, Louisa, Charlottesville, Orange, Goochland, Henrico, Beaverdam, Gum Spring, Partlow and around Lake Anna. Typical work includes excavation, demolition, land and lot clearing, grading, driveways and private roads, basement excavation, culvert replacement, trench drains, yard drainage and pond construction and repair.
